However, it is only a few minutes' walk to the restored old town and Stolberg Castle. There you will find a wide range of different restaurants and pubs. There are hiking trails that start right outside the hotel which lead you into the forests of the Eifel and invite you to explore nature.
The old imperial city of Aachen as well as the Dutch European City of Maastricht and Liège in Belgium are not far away and are well worth a visit.
